My 3 favourite Leg exercises to build Power, Strength & Stability

~ 5 minute read

These 3 exercises are a staple in Rob’s Strength Method Block 1 for helping accessorise your main lifts to help build your overall strength

1. TEMPO GOBLET SQUAT

From targeting a variety of muscle fibres, challenging your core and demanding more of your upper back mobility, the Tempo Goblet Squat has it all. This truly is a bang for your buck exercise.

💡Why not add a pause at the bottom to really add some fire

2. REAR FOOT ELEVATED SPLIT SQUAT

This for me is the daddy of all lower body accessory lifts. It pull together Strength & Stability nicely

When performed bodyweight, these can be a great priming exercise, or add them in mid workout with some additional load and be prepared to have to work hard

💡Why not lower under control and explode up into a hop to add a Power element.

3. RUSSIAN KETTLEBELL SWING

When you’re looking for Strength & Power, the Russian Kettlebell Swing I think is a great exercise and should be a staple in peoples training.

Commonly performed incorrectly as more of a squat & front raise, when performed correctly, this exercise lights up your posterior chain and gets your lower body switched on ready to get to work

💡Why not pair these with some high jumps to get your posterior chain lit up
